General and support
Account problems, something not working, a question about how Kismaro handles something, or a correction to anything written on this site. We aim to reply within two working days.
Safety, abuse and child protection
Use this for anything involving harm: a user who will not stop, threats, sexual content, or anyone you believe is under 18. This is also our standing point of contact for child-safety notices from authorities and from child-protection organisations.
We aim to respond within 24 hours, and anything involving a minor is looked at first. Where the law requires it we report the matter to the relevant authorities and preserve what we hold.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We are not an emergency service and cannot intervene in real time. Write to us afterwards and we will act on the account.
Privacy requests
To ask for a copy of your data, or its correction or deletion, write from — or quote — the email address on your account. We respond within one month, as the GDPR requires, and usually much sooner.
We may ask one question to confirm the account is yours. We will not ask for a photograph of an identity document. What we hold, and what we keep after deletion, is set out in the privacy policy.
Reporting a bug or a security problem
If you have found a security flaw, please tell us before telling anyone else, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it. Include enough detail to reproduce it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine flaw in good faith and does not access, alter or retain other people's data while finding it.
Legal notices, copyright and trade marks
Address formal notices to Kismaro at the postal address above, and copy them to that mailbox so they reach us quickly. For a copyright or trade mark complaint, identify the material, tell us how to find it, give your contact details, and state that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act for them.
Press
Say what you are writing and your deadline. The brand assets are at /brand/. We are happy to answer questions about how the age check and the face check actually work, including their limits.
Before you write
If you were banned and believe it was a mistake, include your Account ID — you will find it under Your profile in the settings panel. Without it we usually cannot identify the account, because there is no name or email attached to an anonymous one.
If you are reporting a conversation, press the Report button during or straight after it. That attaches the details we need. An email sent hours later, with no account ID, often cannot be matched to anything — conversations are not recorded, so there is no archive for us to search.
What we cannot do: tell you who someone was, give you a recording of a conversation (none exist), or pass a message to another user.
